Our commitments

A four-point promise

At Hôtel Théorème, we know that environmental considerations shouldn’t be some abstract theory: it’s up to all of us to implement practices that promote sustainable development.
In order to offer you considerate comfort, we need to adapt our hospitality practices in the right direction on a day-to-day basis: in a spirit of virtuous service, with a positive impact on both nature and mankind, starting now for both the present and the future.
Hôtel Théorème is certified European Ecolabel, a label recognized throughout Europe:

Reducing power consumption

The right result

Climate change means reasoned and reasonable energy consumption. For example, Hôtel Théorème sets the temperature of its heating and air-conditioning systems within a range of 19 to 24°C, thereby optimising their energy efficiency.

Optimising water consumption

The right track

Water is unquestionably a resource that needs to be looked after. We rationalise our water consumption by changing the linen only at your request. As a result, thousands of litres of water can be saved every year, so contributing to protecting our planet.

Waste sorting

The rationale

At Hôtel Théorème, one of our golden rules is sorting waste in order to optimise recycling. This virtuous cycle is based on collective responsibility: in addition to Hôtel Théorème staff’s full commitment, guests naturally also make a contribution by using the waste separation bins in their rooms, as well as in the hotel’s public areas.

Priority to sustainable purchasing

Common denominator

Hôtel Théorème staff and partners’ commitment are all part of the good practices’ equation, with local sourcing offering the best solution for sustainability. In order to reduce both the carbon footprint and to perpetuate the local socio-economic fabric, Hôtel Théorème gives priority to suppliers located close to Paris and in the Île-de-France region. Each is selected based on its sustainable practices, i.e., preserving biodiversity, which goes hand in hand with an ethical approach, in order to create a positive dynamic.
